Clover in the Garden

Did you know that clover is a great way to bring nitrogen into your soil? Natural fertilizer!

And because it has deep roots, clover is drought
tolerant and helps prevent erosion. It dies back in cold

weather, but rebounds in spring with the flowers shown above. 

Once established, clover can be invasive, so save this ground cover for hillsides and wilder areas where you can appreciate the green without worrying about it taking over the landscape.
